Great Energy stepped in with specialized expertise to assist with a 2000kVA HV generator. Our task was to install and program a new Caterpillar AVR and recommission the Heinzmann Si-TEC control system after a recent breakdown. During our assessment, we identified an alignment issue in the High Voltage alternator, which we promptly corrected using the required shims and checked crankshaft end float to ensure the equipment’s durability and longevity. Our dedicated team ensured the entire system was synchronized to the electricity grid for full load testing. After thorough tuning and testing, the generator is now back to operating at its full capacity. We’re proud to have played a part in restoring this powerful generator to its optimal performance!
